July 3rd Webinar with Swamiji

Our regular weekly Web-based satsang with Swamiji on Fridays, hosted by the ashram, with guests from around Europe and the UK.

This week the Guided Meditation started with the chant ‘OM Purnamadaha’ and reflections on its profound meaning.

Questions and answers followed such as the difference between Chidakasha and Chitakasha, and the space of meditation whether behind or in front of closed eyes.

Webinar with Swami Nishchalananda

On 26th June Swamiji gave this web based Zoom meeting, hosted by Mandala Yoga Ashram, to guests invited from the UK and Europe.

A guided meditation on the Chakras was followed by a question and answer session, which included the following topics:-

Q: When we meditate, is it advisable to have eyes closed, or is it also ok to have the eyes open, as in some Buddhist meditation.

Dawn Chorus

This is one for those of you who like a reminder of the Ashram environment. Back in the days when we had people coming on courses (which will happen again), perhaps you remember getting up in the early morning just as dawn is breaking, and hearing the birds greeting the new day. It’s a magical time, and the purity of that sound was recorded back in May, when the birds are most vocal, by Swami SatyaDaya. Please enjoy.

Webinar with Swamiji, 5th June

This was a Zoom transmission organised by Mandala Yoga Ashram, giving not just the Ashram residents but about 50 people around Europe the opportunity to join with Swami Nishchalananda. He gave a long reflective guided meditation, then a question and answer session…..

…. here’s a taster of some of the questions and extracts from Swamiji’s answers

Satsang at Satyananda Tapovanam, India on New Year’s Eve 2003

This is the first of the archived satsangs

that we’re editing and bringing into the public domain…

… and was given before an audience of quite a few people, and several million Cicadas! Hence the buzzing noise especially at the beginning, which it’s very difficult to edit out. It’s authentic we can say!

This one is a New Year’s eve Satsang given by Swamiji at Satyananda Tapovanam, near Banglore, after he’d founded Mandala Yoga Ashram in Wales. Covering a wide range of subjects, including some insight into what it is to be head of an Ashram (Acharya), and the importance of ‘spaciousness’ in the role, i.e. being supportive of other people but without being too close to their emotional baggage.
